Connor is becoming so ridiculously independent. If he really wants something, he finds a way to get it if I can't help him right when he wants it. He helps himself to anything in the fridge, pantry, and cabinets, sometimes using multiple stools to reach what he's after. Luckily we haven't had any falls yet, and I hope it stays that way! |

Connor found a skein of yarn in my Primary bag I had used for teaching my Sunbeams. He pulled it all around the house, then told me he was 'balancing' on it as he walked on top of it. I guess he has learned something from Cole going to gymnastics! |

I had just called Cole smelly pants, for reasons you can imagine. He told me, "Mom, I'm not smelly pants. I'm sweet pants like a flower." I was a little entertained. I love when he says stuff that I know he came up with all by himself. |
We got a full cash offer on our house on Halloween, so we have started packing. We were hoping to find something to move right into, but we looked and looked and came up with nothing. We found a cute town house to rent in Carriagegate while we look into building again. The boys were really helpful packing and were pretty excited to have a new house.

There were quite a few boxes I packed a little heavier than I wanted to move. Lucky for me, I had a few extra kids that day to help push them into the kitchen so I didn't have to bother with them.
Of course they had to play in the huge box before we packed it up. They REALLY wanted me to tape them up inside it, but I figured they wouldn't think it was so exciting if I had actually done it. They colored the box after playing in it for a while. The most simple toys are always the best!

Brittnie and Cyrie came over to help pack, which was SO helpful. We got way more done that day that I would have in a week. Brittnie brought over this Halloween costume for Cole. We have always done characters rather than scary Halloween stuff, so he loved having this! |

I went to the new house to clean before we moved in, and this huge gift basket was waiting on the counter. It had a rug, scentsy warmer plus a few different wax bars, treats, a movie, dishtowels, light bulbs, cleaning stuff, and a few other odds and ends. That's definitely a good way to make someone want to take care of your rental!! It had a sweet card, too, that made me feel like I was right at home already. |

Cole gets into my socks sometimes. He especially loves the fuzzy Christmas socks. |

Connor loves to sing at church. He usually spends the first 20 minutes flipping through the hymn book and singing songs that he knows. I usually have to shush him a few times because he gets a little too loud. The opening hymn one week was "I Am A Child Of God." Both boys know it well and were both singing the right words at about the right time. It was so fun to watch and listen to them! |
Connor decided he wanted cheese for breakfast while I was still in bed, so he got some while I was still sleeping...
A few of my neighbors came and helped load up a truck of stuff, then my mom, Chris, and I unloaded it. The boys were pretty helpful as well and both very pleased with themselves that they could carry such big, heavy things.
Unpacking the whole house seemed overwhelming, so we started in Cole's room. After we got everything put together, we took a break and colored for a while.

None of our furniture really worked in the new house. The stools were too short and the living room needed actual couches rather than a sectional. The boys had to stand on the swiveling stools to be able to reach the counter. |

Connor fell asleep on my lap. He NEVER falls asleep on me; it's usually Chris he lays down by. I enjoyed every minute! |

Chris played the claw-grabbing-toys game with the boys while we were waiting for our seat at Red Robin. They didn't win anything but were pretty close each time. |
