We went down to Primary Children's for Cole to have his second heart catheter. When they were ballooning his pulmonary arteries, one of them tore. There was so much scar tissue from previous surgeries that it kept the tear from really going anywhere, but they weren't able to do as much as they had wanted to. They said he would need another one in 6-12 months.

He had fun played with the Thomas the Train phone while the nurse was getting him all set up.
He was pretty groggy after surgery; he slept for a long time. He would wake up hungry but couldn't keep anything down. We let him have sips of a slurpy to keep him happy.
When he finally got all the sleep he needed, he woke up starving! He had to make due with a blueberry muffin until his breakfast came.
He was pleased with all the breakfast options. He ordered pancakes, fries, fruit, and chocolate milk.
Thankfully Connor was really happy during our stay at the hospital.

Cole is such an incredible big brother. I was pretty worried because Cole is such a Mama's boy, but I have not had any jealousy issues with him. He loves helping change diapers, giving baths, and holding Connor. I got pretty lucky with two sweet, adorable boys!

Newborn Pictures

We took Connor's newborn pictures a little late. He was right around three weeks old and not the most cooperative. Cyrie came over to help situate him and come up with fun ideas as I had none. We should have started earlier because we lost our sunlight before we were finished, but we still got some cute ones.

Connor Anthony!

Connor Anthony was born July 14, 2011 at 7 lbs 8 oz after an awesome 3 1/2 hour labor. It was a really neat experience to be able to hold Connor right after he was born. Cole with to stay in Blackfoot with my mom and Alan while I was in the hospital. When they came in to see us, Cole was more interested in the bag of treats the hospital had given Chris than Connor. That all changed once we were all back home! Cole is the sweetest, most attentive brother ever. Connor had Jaundice and had to be on a light for over a week once we got home. We were relieved when we could finally take him off. He is a REALLY good baby and we're so happy to have him!

Spencer and his family were travelling through and stopped to bless Connor on their way. He looked so handsome in the blessing outfit my mom had made for Cole.

We pulled out all Connor's things a couple months before he was born so Cole would have a chance to play with everything. We were hoping his interest in the baby things would wear off, but no such luck.
