January 2013

Cole and Connor play very well together. Cole has been helping change Connor's diapers, washing his hair in the bath, and getting him dressed. They also feed each other occasionally.

They both love to do tricks on the couch, including belly flops and somersaults. They both say "watch" and wait to make sure you really are watching before they will do anything. Cole loves watching movies, especially when he is sick, but Connor can only handle watching for a few minutes until he takes off to find something more exciting.

While Connor was eating his Cheerios, he unzipped the top of his jammies and put some Cheerios in. Then he'd put his hands up and say "Where'd it go?" I thought I had fished them all out, but when I changed his diaper later I found a handful down by his feet. Connor is an awesome eater! He has eaten his dinner and finished Cole's several times.

These boys love being together. I love making them wear matching jammies. :)

2012 Christmas

We had our Christmas late this year because Chris had to work. While he was at work, we went to Nana & Grandpa Greg's and Grandma & Grandpa Alan's. Cole and Connor were so excited to wake up to a trampoline when we finally had our Christmas at home. Cole tore through all his presents but we had to keep reminding Connor to keep opening them. Cole's favorite presents were a stethoscope and the game 'Bingory' from Cyrie. Connor and I both got new vacuums. After presents, we had a big breakfast and headed to Grandpa Ken and Grandma Jenni's for a family dinner.

Cole's favorite parts about Christmas were the stockings and the Christmas tree. Connor was pretty good about leaving the presents along until the last week when he started packing the small ones around the house. Cole wrote all the names on the presents for me and was the "tape man" when we were wrapping them. We generally did the wrapping when Connor was sleeping.

I was hoping to leave cookies and milk for Santa and open new pajamas on Christmas Eve but the boys both fell asleep. I had to settle with opening their pajamas for them and changing them while they were still sleeping. Hopefully next year!
