August 2014 - Belen's Wedding

Belen and Robert's wedding was so beautiful. Of course we stopped to see my dad on the way there. Belen always keeps beautiful flowers by his grave. I got to Ciara, too, which was fun! It had been a few years! Cole was the ring bearer, and did so good, He practiced going up the aisle a few times before it was time. 

Cole and Connor felt so fancy using the big wine glasses. Connor still loves eating ice as much as he did when he was a baby. Cole and I got to sit up at the bride and groom's table, but since we didn't really know who we were next to, we had to come up with our own entertainment. Connor poked me with a bean, so I sent him across the room to find someone else to poke. It was funny to see how funny he thought he was! Everyone danced a little bit before heading back to our homes. It was a fun day, and I love that we were able to celebrate with Belen and Robert!

August 2014 - Carson's Blessing

I am seriously kicking myself for not getting better pictures of this day. Carson looked so handsome, and quite a bit of my family and Chris's family was able to make it. He was perfect during his blessing that Spencer gave him, and wore the same suit my mom made for Cole. 

August 2014 - Cole's Heart Cath

Cole had a heart cath at PCMC this month. He was supposed to go in for surgery at 10am, but they kept pushing him back due to an emergency. By the time they took him back, it was 5pm. He hadn't eaten since he went to bed the night before, but didn't say he was hungry even once because he was so busy playing on his phone til it died, then playing on the XBOX for his first time. He was happy the whole time! Surgery went great, and they guessed he wouldn't need another open heart surgery (which we were expecting anytime) for like 20 years! Technology is incredible. Connor spent the night with Nana and Grandpa Greg in Inkom.
