I seriously love Rigby Lake. It's the perfect distance away. I love that you can camp or just go for the day. I love that my mom is always excited to go with us, and doesn't mind watching my kids so I can go swim. I have really come to appreciate my family in that aspect. This was Carson's first time at the Lake, or anywhere having a full day outside for that matter. He handled it really well! He spent his time laying under the Sportbrella, and was generally happy from what I remember.
Suzanne made sandwiches. They were delicious! Cole ate the whole thing and it made such a mark on his memory that he asked her to make them again a while later. Connor spent most of his time in the sand or by the picnic table digging holes with his shovel. Cole was too nervous to swim out to the buoys this time, which I thought was interesting. He would go in the water pretty deep, but he didn't like it when he couldn't touch.
My mom took a nap while we were there. Connor was so funny! He walked all around her, kept checking on her, and was just so cute and sweet all around. You can tell how much he adores her!
I learned that I need to apply sunscreen more often than I did. It was painful!
