This month, Cole had both kidney and cardiology appointments at Primary Children's Hospital. I have been pretty stressed about his kidneys; he didn't need one more thing to have to deal with. We went in because the geneticist said a lot of DiGeorge kids have kidney issues, and it's better to be safe than sorry. His ultrasound at a previous appointment showed that one was dilated and the other had a lump. When we met with a specialist this time, I was happy to hear that he was fine and we didn't even need to follow up- ever. His heart is doing well; not much has changed over the past six months, so he is good to go for another six months. I love my brave boy!
