January 2014 - Random Pictures

Every kid has to have a picture with underwear on his head. :)
Dale and I when we were little. So sweet! I love his hair!

I told Cole that he can also have a treat if he gets Connor to use his potty.

We went to Blast-off with Jack and Susannah. Cole loves this place so much, and I love that Connor is big enough now that he doesn't need me to follow him around.

Cole has been into The Land Before Time movies lately. I used this to my advantage by telling him that spinach is actually tree-stars, just like what Littlefoot eats.

He falls asleep in the funniest places. I have so many pictures of sleeping boys. I think they're just adorable when they sleep.

My mom has been able to come see us every Tuesday after she goes to the temple.
We always look forward to when she comes! She is good to haul off my DI piles as well.

I finally figured out how to keep my layers inside my bun, thanks to Susannah!

We went to Emmie's house to drop off some late Christmas presents. Cole came down in several different outfits. I guess he's still young enough to dress in girls clothes every once in a while. :)
Cole gets quite a few bloody noses, especially in the winter. This one was in the middle of the night, and was bad enough I decided to throw him in the tub while I cleaned up all the drips between his room to mine. He thought it was pretty cool that the water turned red.

I love going out to eat and having my whole side to myself. They do a lot of side switching.

We go to Petsmart to see the animals when we are out and about and have extra time. The boys always love it. It almost makes me want to get an animal for them, but I'm worried the novelty would wear off quickly and I would end up having to take care of it. Maybe when they're a little older...

Trot-a-Horsie

Connor pulled the bucket of wheat around the kitchen, saying he was giving it a ride.

Connor really likes to be naked. Once his clothes are off, it's hard to get him back into them.
I guess I'll let him enjoy it while he's little enough!

As soon as Chris sits down, Connor snuggles up next to him and falls asleep. I rarely get that lucky.

Cole is such a good help with Connor. He changes diapers, helps him get dressed, and keeps him entertained. It makes me not nearly so nervous about having another baby! I know Connor will be in good hands.

We love when Brielle, Lanie, and Avi come over to play. They all play so well together, and the house always seems too quiet after they leave.

Cole has a few books memorized now, and he can read about 40 different sight words. I love watching him 'read' to other people. Once I asked him to read Winnie the Pooh to Connor, and instead of getting the book and going to Connor, he stayed at the table and started reciting it. It's a pretty good sized book, too!
