August 2014 - Connor's Quarter

My sweet boy came into my room while Carson and I were taking a nap. He kept trying to say something, but couldn't. Then he threw up, and managed to tell me he had swallowed a money. I called Chris and we all went into the ER. The quarter was activating his gag reflex the whole time, so he kept puking. We got there, did an x-ray, and they put him to sleep and pulled it out. After he was feeling better, he wanted to go to Grandma's, so we headed to Blackfoot.

August 2014 - Cyrie's BBQ

Cyrie invited us over for a BBQ. The kids had fun playing with her outdoor kitchen they made, jumping on the tramp, and building a fire. Connor had an accident so he got to borrow some of Avi's clothes. He looked pretty cute in them!

August 2014 - Theresa's Visit

Theresa's visits are always so fun and packed full of activities. We always spend time at Grandma's house. Grandma always makes sure their visits are memorable! What other person do you know that will let kids play with a tray of water in her living room!? Needless to say, everyone has a blast. Theresa always instigates very thought provoking conversations. I learn a lot about myself, and learned to appreciate Idaho's views a little more!

We went to the free craft at Home Depot. It was kinda crazy trying to manage both my boys plus Carson. It went pretty good overall- Connor got some paint on his shirt and Cole managed to paint his teeth. Not sure quite how it happened!

We tried to go to Ammon Days for the first time, but didn't realize we should have hustled there first thing in the morning. We got there just as they were cleaning everything up. They still has misters going, though, so at least the kids got to do something! Since it was Jessica's birthday, we took her and her girls out for Chinese.

There is always a trip to Rigby Lake involved because you just can't beat how close it is to our house and how much fun it is to go. We also went to iJump for the kids.

August 2014 - Veta and the Motorcycle

Veta's head got smashed by the handle of a motorcycle that was coming past a large truck parked on the side of the road. It was one of the most heart wrenching days I have ever had. It was so scary not knowing for sure what had happened and wondering how her brain would be when she woke up. Luckily she is just fine. Gemma and Hazel stayed with us quite a bit while Veta was in the hospital. She wasn't in nearly as long as I was expecting. I wanna say like five days? Not too bad at all!
