December 2014 - Ward Christmas Party

Our ward's Christmas party was incredible. It was a breakfast especially for the kids. Everyone was supposed to wear pajamas. They had different stations set up for the kids to do, and at the end, Santa came and took pictures with everyone and passed out treats. We had a blast! We went with Kara and her two girls since both our hubbies were working. Later that day, we went to the Museum to see the big Christmas thing they had going on. I had never been before, so it was fun to go look around. We ran into Santa there, too, and Connor still wouldn't have anything to do with him. He's so funny! He watches him and hides behind my leg. He'll act like he's excited to see him, but when we do actually see him, he gets scared.

December 2014 - Grandma's Christmas Party

Santa was at Grandma's Christmas party, so we went to see him. It was a really long wait. Connor refused to go anywhere near him, but Cole had a list of things he wanted. Carson just started at him.

December 2014 - Christmas with Suzanne

Since Suzanne was going to be in Texas for Christmas, she wanted to celebrate before she left. We opened a few presents early, had a big dinner, went around the neighborhood ring and running cookies, then came back and had grinch drinks. It was a fun night!

December 2014 - Christmas at Home and in Inkom

When Chris got home we celebrated our own Christmas. The boys got some pretty neat stuff, along with a new elf, who we named Zed. Elf on the Shelf is such a fun tradition! We wrapped up a lot of our old toys that we had packed up the whole time our Park Place house was for sale and we were in our rental. The boys didn't remember most of them, so it worked out pretty dang good! I have a hard time with Christmas because they rarely have something specific they want, and they have toys coming out their ears. I hate to buy something just to buy something, but I don't like not getting anything, either. Santa brought them ridiculously cute bedding sets, though.

We headed to Inkom after we were through at our house. We got to meet Clay's girlfriend, Chelsey, who is such a sweetheart. Chris said he always made taffy growing up, so we tried that out. It didn't turn out, but it was fun to watch them make it!
