August 2013 - Random Pictures

Every time I print something, Connor hears the printer and goes running to get the paper that comes out.
This is how he always brings it to me. Sometimes he leaves a damp spot where his chin
We went to Cyrie's house for a water day. They just got a tramp and put a sprinkler under it, filled up a couple pools, had bubbles, water toys, and watermelon. It was so fun!
Connor's first time eating Ramen. He thoroughly enjoyed them.

My boys are both ridiculously handsome, especially when they are all dressed up for church.

Cole makes several funny faces for each smile I get out of him.

When we go to the mall, I give each boy a quarter that they can use to get candy if they are good the whole time. Cole was showing some guy his quarter and the guy gave each of them a dollar! What a nice guy, huh! They were both pretty happy. We only stop at the play area in the mall occasionally. Usually there are too many kids. When we do, though, we usually stay for a while so they can get all their energy out before more shopping.

I found these Superman jammies at Kohls and had to have them. Aren't they adorable?!
Eating was a little too exhausting today...

We have been going to the playground at Sunnyside Elementary quite a bit. They have bars and a balance beam so we can practice gymnastics. Their swings are awesome, too. They are really high so you can swing far without getting too far off the ground.

After making a puddle on the patio with the hose, they decided they were going to play in it. They were both soaked by the time they were done rolling around. I love how Connor took off his socks, filled them up with water, and then squeezed them back out.

Team cheer at soccer practice.

I bought a dress for Hannah, the little girl Connor hangs out with during soccer practice, to thank her mom for watching him. I thought it was so cute! Connor was too much of a boy to pull it off very well, though.

They both love swinging, and when I push them, they both say they want to go, "Super duper high!"

We went to the zoo with Kajsa, Adalyn, and Jensen. These monkeys are a favorite every time we have been. Connor really liked the flamingos time time, too. Usually he isn't overly excited about them.

We took Connor to soccer practice on the last day. He kept himself busy. Luckily there were enough extra cones that no one minded he stole one for his hat. He kicked the ball around a little bit, and the substitute coach commented that he could be one of the players. He did pretty dang good!

Cole does very well, too. He thinks it's funny to kick the ball and make it go up rather than just over.

Connor needed a break every now and then. He made friends with the coach, too. He chased him around a bit and got lots of high fives.

The couch cushions are such good entertainment for them.

After we watch "Alpha & Omega," a lot of howling takes place.
