July 2013 - Rigby Lake

We spent quite a bit of time at Rigby Lake this summer. We love that it is so close and is perfect for a little day trip or camping. Cole loves swimming in the water, and Connor would rather just play in the sand. It works out good when we go with my mom and Alan; Cole and I can go swim and he can have someone to keep track of him.

Cole always asks to swim out to the balls. I think there are around 12 of them, and we will swim to each of them. I make him swim by himself to every other one, then he holds onto my life jacket and I pull him to the next one.

He was too tired to swim on his own on the way back to the beach, so I got to pull him the whole way.  I accidentally kicked him a couple of times, but he told me that it was ok.

Connor wanted to try on the big life jacket. It was definitely a little big!

Connor kept running off to catch the seagulls that were flying around. He is pretty quick!

Grandma brought vanilla wafers to dip in pudding. Needless to say, both the boys loved it.

Luckily, Connor falls asleep fairly well when we aren't home.

When he has a towel over his puddle jumper, it looks like he has some kind of wings.
I thought it was pretty funny.

Cole had to try on the big life jacket, too.

These pictures are from a trip we took with a couple of friends. We went with Courtney and her two boys, Cooper and Beckett, and Jeremy and her two kids, Jace and Ellie. They are all fairly close to the same age, so it was a fun day for them! I wish I had taken more pictures, though.
