Chris had a lump in his throat. It was swollen lymph nodes. He went to an ENT and they cycled him through different antibiotics hoping to get the lumps down. They weren't phased, so they did a biopsy. We were imagining a 2 stitch type of thing, and we were both shocked when we saw his incision. I guess they pulled his whole neck apart and felt down and around and everywhere. I felt really bad leaving for a 5 day trip to Yellowstone the day after his surgery, but he insisted that I go. It worked out well that Theresa was here visiting (she got here during Connor's birthday party) because she took care of my kids while we were in the hospital.
