I can't believe I have a SEVEN year old. Seriously. That seems so old to me! We started the day with balloons in his room and blue pancakes with candles for breakfast. We opened his present (Connor got one, too) that he had been asking for since his last one broke a looong time ago. Cole had his first class party this year. The thought of this always stressed me out before, but I decided to make it easy and just order pizza and have it at the park. The kids all played and I didn't have to come up with games or anything for them. Decorating their own cupcakes was a big hit! We may do that at every birthday party from now on. He had a pretty good turnout, which was good because we didn't really know very many kids in his class since it was so early in the year. He had a blast and loved being the center of attention. Some of his friends who I knew their names were: Marley, Kennedy, Madison, Braylon, Camryn, Boston, Merrick, Jonah, Ryan, Henley, and a few more that I still don't recognize!
Emily had a surprise birthday party at Sizzler that we went to as well, then, since it was a beautiful day, we played outside. Chris was trying to teach Cole a better way to run. It was pretty funny to watch!! He normally throws his his head back, puts his chest forward, and keeps his arms behind his body.
