We have found three snakes in our yard this summer. They are all lucky they didn't get chopped up by the lawn mower. Cole put one in the window well and Chris put another in my garden. The other one escaped. The boys love chasing them, though.
Connor's first day of preschool. His teacher is Ms. Karri. He loves her and always gives her hugs. The first day of school, he got to paint his very own bag to be his backpack. He was hooked on preschool since then. He has also become quite the puzzle master.
We decided to drive up the windmills one day. It was super windy so we couldn't get a very good picture, but it was fun to find one that we could get close to. Carson is kissing Josh's baby.
Clay and Chelsey had their sweet baby boy, Gabriel. He's darling!
Yes, he fell asleep on me. Yes, I was in in heaven. :)
I spy a little first grader walking home from school. I'm going to be sad when they build on the lot next to us-- my view of the street will be gone forever.
If you take lots of picture when he is starting to smile, you are sometimes lucky enough to get a not-crazy smile. I love all his faces.
I love that he sews, even though he made me swear back when we were dating that I would never tell anyone. Hahaha.
We did swimming lessons this month. Connor went from refusing to put his head under and laughing when the coach and Cole put their heads under, to being dunked by his coach, to willingly putting his head under. The loved it so much!
I had a three month streak of working out. I love how it makes me feel! I'm attempting to make it a permanent habit.
This is my pet bird Connor. He always appears to build his nest when I'm doing laundry.
